8. PHONE SETTINGS
8.1 Ringer Volume
You can select the ringer volume for the incoming home and mobile calls.
Press VOLUME

on the telephone base to set the ringer volume while the
telephone base is in idle mode to set the ringer volume for all lines.
Press SET to conrm and you hear a conrmation tone.
OR
Press OFF to turn off the ringer, then press SET to save. You hear a conrmation
tone.
OR
Press MENU on the handset or telephone base in idle mode to enter the main
menu.
Press or on the handset, or press or on the telephone base
to highlight Ringers, then press SELECT.
Press SELECT to choose Ringer volume.
Press or on the handset, or press or on the telephone base
to highlight All lines, Home, Mobile-D1 or Mobile-D2, then press SELECT.
Press or on the handset, or press or on the telephone base
to adjust the ringer volume. A sample of each ringer volume plays as you scroll
through the choices.
OR
Press OFF to turn off the ringer. The handset displays Ringer off.
6. Press SET to conrm, the screen displays Caller ID won’t be announced.
You hear a conrmation tone.
noteS
Changing the handset ringer volume does not affect base ringer volume.
When the ringer volume for all calls (home and mobile) is set to off, a steady
ringer off icon appears. When only one or two of the ringer volume settings are
set to off, a ringer off icon ashes.
The ringer volume level also determines the ringer levels of intercom calls.
For the handsets that support Voice Announce Caller ID, when the ringer is set to
off, calling number display will not be announced and the screen displays Caller
ID won’t be announced.
