6.5.4 Delete a Phonebook Entry
To delete an entry:
Search for the desired entry in the phonebook.
When the desired entry appears, press on the handset or on the telephone
base. The screen displays Delete contact? and the name of the entry. Press
YES to conrm.
The screen displays Contact deleted and then the next alphabetical entry in the
phonebook. You hear a conrmation tone.
note
Once a phonebook entry is deleted, it cannot be retrieved.
6.5.5 Remove a Downloaded Phonebook
Search for the desired downloaded phonebook in the phonebook menu.
When the desired downloaded phonebook is chosen, press OPTION, then press
or on the handset or or on the telephone base to highlight
Del phonebook.
Press SELECT. The screen displays Phonebook Mobile Phone A will be
erased.
Press YES to conrm. The handset displays Erasing phonebook... and then
Phonebook removed. You hear a conrmation tone.
6.6 Speed Dial
6.6.1 Assign a Speed Dial Phonebook Entry
You can assign 10 of your phonebook entries to a speed dial slot (0-9). The speed
dial entries are shared by all handsets.
Up to 10 speed dial entries can be stored. The speed dial number must be created
from an existing entry in the Home phonebook or a BLUETOOTH
®
phonebook.
Press MENU in idle mode.
Press or on the handset, or or on the telephone base to
highlight Phonebook, then press SELECT.
Press or on the handset, or or on the telephone base to
highlight Speed dial, then press VIEW.
Press or on the handset, or or on the telephone base to
highlight an empty slot, then press ASSIGN.
Press or on the handset, or or on the telephone base to
search for the desired entry in the phonebook. When the desired entry
appears, press ASSIGN. You hear a conrmation tone.
