5. USING THE PHONE

5.1 Make a Home Call

5.1.1 Preparatory Dialing a Home Call

Enter the telephone number, then press or on the handset, or press or

on the telephone base.

5.1.2 Direct Dialing a Home Call

Press or on the handset, or press on the telephone base, then enter the

telephone number.

5.2 Answer a Home Call

Press or on the handset, or press or on the telephone base.

Press on the telephone base or the call key on your headset when using a

BLUETOOTH

headset.

5.3 End a Home Call

Press on the handset, or press on the telephone base, or put the handset in

the telephone base or charger.

Press , or the call key on your headset when using a BLUETOOTH

headset.

5.4 Transfer a Call

To transfer a call from the telephone base to a BLUETOOTH

headset:

Press then press SELECT or again to choose the headset. The telephone

base displays Transferring audio to Headset A.

To transfer a call from the BLUETOOTH

headset back to the telephone base:

Press .

The screen shows the elapsed time as you talk (in hours, minutes and seconds).

When predialling (preview numbers before dialling), press on the handset or

on the telephone base to backspace and delete; press and hold on the

handset or press on the telephone base to insert a dialling pause (a P appears).
