The total number of old messages recorded.

The message number currently playing.

If XX New messages displays on the screen at the same time,

there are new messages or memos.

If Rec mem full displays on the screen at the same time, the

memory is full. You must delete some messages before recording

new messages.

The telephone is being accessed remotely.

The answering system is being programmed.
