Using the base:

10.8 Switching Answering Machine On/Off

When you turn the answering machine ON, the will display in handset and base screen.

1. Press MENU to select ANS. SYSTEM.

2. Press SELECT and

</> to select ANS SYS SETUP.

3. Press SELECT to select ANSWER ON / OFF.

4. Press SELECT and

</> to select ON or OFF.

5. Press OK to confirm.

Note:

If you select OFF to switch the Answering Machine off. The icon will disappear.

10.9 Announcement

This is the message your callers hearing on the answering machine. There are two pre-recorded outgoing messages, or you can record your

own.

10.9.1 Record your own announcement

1. Press MENU to select ANS. SYSTEM.

2. Press SELECT and

</> to select ANS SYS SETUP.

3. Press SELECT and

</> to select ANNOUNCEMENT.

4. Press SELECT and

</> to select RECORD.

5. Press SELECT and

</> to select ANSWER & RECORD or ANSWER ONLY.

6. Press SELECT, the system will prompt you to start record your announcement after a beep.

7. Press SAVE to save and the recorded announcement will automatically play.

8. Press

p to stop the playback. Or press f to delete your recorded announcement.
